About Us

Tin Truck & Associates is a partnership combining the skills and expertise of Louise Wellington and Scott McConnell. We pride ourselves on diligently meeting the needs of our clients while staying committed to working respectfully with our local community, and upholding the views and wishes of community members.

We bring this commitment to life through our professional standards and always strive to highlight, represent and sustain Indigenous voices and lived experience in the community, and deliver high quality consultation services.

With our experience and expertise in Indigenous and remote locations, we are well placed to deliver work in partnership with agencies and companies who reflect our values in Indigenous and community sustainability, across diverse communities, language groups and industries.

Tin Truck Consulting is a vehicle for change and positive social impact through straightforward no frills, culturally respectful interactions.

Communication and Community Protocols

Promoting and ensuring grassroots and community voices are heard and accounted for, is a key part of the work we do by providing accurate evidence, transparency and context. This objective is at the forefront of all community consultations.

We always ensure appropriate language speakers or representatives from the community are present and active in consultations. Furthermore, we allow for both male and female consultants in order to engage in a culturally appropriate way, to ensure there is adequate representation from different age groups and demographics.

Evidence, context and high quality documentation is of utmost importance to us. We work closely with researchers and use film and sound recordings, transcribed interviews and high quality photos of consultations with peoples permission.
