    Louise Wellington

    CO FOUNDER

    Louise is a Warlpiri and Luritja woman who grew up in Alice Springs. Her family ties are in Willowra on her father’s side and Watarrka/Kings Canyon on her mother’s side. She is the Co-Founder and 60% shareholder of Tin Truck Consulting Pty Ltd, part owner of contracting company Hardy Fencing Australia Pty Ltd, and owner of the Aboriginal fine arts store, Tali Creatives.

    Louise brings strong people skills, as well as nuts-and-bolts experience across diverse industries, including community housing, building and construction, outstations service delivery, the performing arts, visual arts and Women’s social programs.

    Her skills lie in strategic planning and communications, and her passions are deeply entrenched in First Nations empowerment, creating opportunities and improving conditions for young people.

    Scott was born in Alice Springs during a time when his parents were working on Willowra Station, and he grew up on Napperby Station. During these early years, he lived and worked mainly with Anmatjere people in the pastoral industry. From 1985, Scott workedfor the NT Government for ten years in Forestry and as a Ranger on Central Australian Parks, including Finke Gorge, Ormiston Gorge, Arltunga, and the Alice Springs Telegraph Station.

    From 2016-2020, Scott served as the local Member for Stuart in the NT Legislative Assembly, where he was a strong advocate for equity in remote service delivery, remote housing reform, taxation reform, and business development.

    Today, Scott continues his focus on remote and regional development in the Northern Territory, driven particularly by his childhood friendships and a lifetime of experience in Central Australia.
